Blog No. 1

My attempt at a consistent blog has come and gone and come again. I tried writing one a couple years ago but failed probably because I had little to blog about, or at least I thought as much. This time around, I hope things will be different. Most people probably blog because they want a place to share/express their thoughts and have somebody take interest in them . . . and I'm no different. My hope is that I can inspire people, too. I hope you'll inspire me as well.

So here we go. A little about myself:

I graduated from college two years ago (2008) with a B.S. in Chemistry. I'm currently a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin. I've lived on the east coast, west coast, Montana, and Wisconsin, but Montana easily has my heart. Nevertheless, I meet awesome people anywhere I go. I'm a distance runner. Rather, I run distance. I did so in high school and college and, to make a long story short, I know the foolishness of identifying oneself with anything. I identify with Christ first and foremost. I'll take whatever comments or criticisms you have about Christianity or anything I say seriously.

Finally, and I'm sure most bloggers desire this, please please let me know if you follow this blog. I'll soon get discouraged and my writings will fall into the e-abyss if not!
